To face increasing demand for podiatric care, Body & Soul is seeking a skillful, team-oriented and service-driven podiatrist for its locations throughout Shanghai.
Duties Listed Below Include But Are Not Limited To:
Assessing the condition of a patient’s feet, ankles, or lower legs
Diagnosing foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams, x rays, medical laboratory tests and other methods if necessary
Providing medical and surgical care for foot and ankle ailments, including calluses, ingrown toenails, heel spurs, and arch problems, etc.
Prescribing and ordering shoe inserts (orthotics) to improve a patient’s condition, if necessary
Advising patients on foot and ankle care and on health and lifestyle issues
Referring patients to GPs or other specialists if larger health problems are detected, such as diabetes or musculoskeletal issues
Evaluating patient care by communicating all information pertinent to the patient’s status and writing reports
Qualifications and Requirements:
Friendly, energetic and passionate about rehabilitating people
Making patients feel comfortable and at ease
Licensed podiatrist
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a physician practice or clinic setting
