We are seeking a team-oriented, service-driven Part Time X-Ray Assistant Technician for our Hongmei Road Clinic – Hongqiao. The X-Ray Assistant Technician will provide direct patient care as they conduct radiography procedures.
The duties listed below include but are not limited to:
– Exhibit strong customer service skills in daily interaction with the public, patients, staff and physicians
– Position X-Ray equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors, such as time and KVP
– Position patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician
– Process exposed radiographs using computer generated methods
– Utilize computer software programs, as needed, to communicate and understand patient needs and provide copy of X-Ray images
– Participate in planning and evaluation of patient care by communicating all information pertinent to the patient’s status (and writing X-Ray reports)
– Maintain supplies and equipment, and assists to ensure orderliness of the examination and treatment rooms
– Provide for patient’s comfort, safety and privacy
Qualifications and requirements:
– Friendly, energetic and passionate about a career in the medical field
– Making patients feel comfortable and at ease
– Like a busy atmosphere and can manage multiple tasks at once
– Preferably able to write X-Ray reports
– Able to communicate in English and Chinese
– Certified to perform X-rays
– Minimum of one year of experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is preferred
